The purpose of Jacksonville & Tampa Bay Beauty Institutes is to develop professional Cosmetologist for the Twenty-First Century. Jacksonville & Tampa Bay Beauty Institutes understands the necessity of providing quality training to all of its students.

The major goals of Jacksonville & Tampa Bay Beauty Institutes is to provide each student with an education they will: first prepare them to successfully pass the Governing State Board of Cosmetology examination with confidence, Secondly, assist the students in career placement. Finally, aid in developing the students entrepreneurial skills.

Program of Study

The school offers a 1200 Clock hour course of study. Florida Statue requires that a student who successfully completes a program be granted a diploma verifying the fact.

The Institute now offers a new alternative to cosmetology training in the Tampa Bay & Jacksonville areas.

Jacksonville Beauty Institute, Inc. & Tampa Bay Beauty Institute are owned by Jacksonville Beauty Institute, Inc., which is the Corporate Office in Jacksonville Florida. This is a family based business with several years of experience in cosmetology. Misty Craig is the President & CEO. Dr. Glensford Craig, who is the founder and Chairman of the Board of the schools, was also the Former Chancellor of Dudley Cosmetology University North Carolina.

Jacksonville Beauty Institute, Inc. & Tampa Bay Beauty Institute combine cosmetology training with training in business, marketing, and communication skills. Student are taught how to maintain the health of client's hair thereby building a loyal clientele base.

Entering the work force straight from school can be a challenge, but students at Jacksonville Beauty Institute, Inc. & Tampa Bay Beauty Institute are taught how to prepare a business plan and also how to create a portfolio of hair styles so that they can make the transition from school to work much easier.
